Here at Chippenham Town Council, we have several spaces available to hire.
Facilities include level access, air conditioning, bar area, kitchen and free Wi-Fi.
The Neeld
The Neeld is a spacious and flexible venue, available for a variety of events and occasions, from concerts and conferences to meetings, productions and parties. We host a mix of professional and amateur shows throughout the year, featuring touring productions as well as performances by local theatre and dance groups.
The venue can accommodate both standing and seated shows and events. It features retractable tiered seating with a capacity of 217 and standing capacity for up to 250 people. Alternatively, other configurations, including flat seating and cabaret-style arrangements, are available.
The venue is fitted with professional sound and lighting equipment (see Tech Spec), ensuring a professional experience for every event. Our in-house technician is available to hire, guaranteeing technical support throughout your event.
The Neeld is in a central location in Chippenham, with accessible access from the Borough Parade car park. We are a 5-minute walk away from the mainline train station and bus station.
The Neeld Foyer, Bar and Courtyard
Stylishly refurbished in 2023, the Neeld foyer, bar and courtyard area is perfect for smaller parties, training events or meetings and can be hired along with the Neeld or independently. Depending on your requirements and layout, the space has a capacity of up to 95 people.
Town Hall and other meeting spaces
The elegant Town Hall is a beautiful space for wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, conferences and craft fairs with its own bar and kitchen and can accommodate up to 170 people dependent on layout.
The Green Room and Syndicate Room are perfect for smaller meetings of up to 10 people. Please note these two smaller rooms are only accessible via stairs.
