Krazy Kat Theatre are coming back to the Neeld this April with their inclusive family performance of Oliver in the Overworld.
We had a chat with the company about what audiences can expect.
How did the story of Oliver in the Overworld originate?
It was a delightful TV series in 1970, created by Mike Hazlewood and Albert Hammond. Kinny saw it as a child and has longed to do a stage version ever since!
Do you feel there is a lack of inclusive theatre?
Absolutely there is. However, more and more theatre practitioners are waking up to the wonderful possibilities that inclusion brings.
What has been Krazy Kats favourite performance?
We have had so many! I think my favourite is always the last tour we did! So that would be Rapunzel and her Witch, that we brought to The Neeld last year.
What is Krazy Kats favourite tour snack?
Always, always Cheese and Onion crisps!
