Jongleurs | Friday 30th June
Jongleurs, the UK’s number one comedy company, has over 30 years experience of running clubs and shows and has helped launch the careers of some of our biggest comedy stars. Now, in their ‘Jongleurs On The Road’ show, they will present four of the brightest and funniest acts on the current UK comedy circuit in an evening of live comedy at its best.
This is our third show with Jongleurs in 2017- our first two shows sold out, and with limited tickets remaining this will be your last chance this summer to catch Jongleurs live!
Bath Opera’s touring company presents for summer 2017 a new production of Verdi’s 1851 opera masterpiece, Rigoletto. Transport yourself on an Italian summer holiday without the cost – based around the court of the libertine Duke of Mantua, this production is set in 1930s Italy, in the decadent years before the second World War. Packed with glorious tunes and intense emotion, it takes the audience on a roller-coaster ride of joy, love, despair and murder.
The Scots Guards were originally formed in 1642 by King Charles, and over the last few centuries have been entertaining troops in both World Wars as well as being the only Foot Guards Band to be deployed on active service during the Gulf War. This special military concert is a fundraising for SSAFA, the armed forces charity, who provide lifelong help for military personnel, veterans and their families.
Chippenham’s musical theatre company CLOGS Musical Theatre present their summer concert for 2017! The show is a fundraising event featuring a popular collection of music that spans a 70 year timeline, including a Rogers & Hammerstein medley and songs from musicals such as the Sound of Music, Carousel, South Pacific, Mamma Mia, Fantastiks, Fanny, Calamity Jane, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, and The King & I.
Further Stages students from Stagecoach Swindon, Bath and Newbury join together in their end of year showcase performance. The show celebrates the work Stagecoach students aged 15-19 years old in an evening of dance, singing and drama.
