This month, Chippenham Town Council will be hosting another free Family Fun Day at John Coles Park on Sunday 18th June.
The event, which this year is supported by local Wiltshire firm Awdry Bailey & Douglas Solicitors, will be taking place between 10am-4pm and we’re hoping for another day of great weather!
The Neeld Community and Arts Centre are proud to be taking part and will be bringing along an array of fun activities for all ages- including dance performances on the bandstand and a display by South Wiltshire Falconry. Come and find us by the bandstand for your chance to win tickets to a Neeld show!
Around the rest of the park, there will be a petting zoo from Dave and Ewe, a circus skills workshop by Clare’s Circus and Chippenham Town Councillors will also be hosting a tombola in aid of the Mayor’s charity this year which is St. Nicholas School in Chippenham. A selection of local charities and community groups will be joining in the fun, each with an information stand with activities and games to have a go at such as face painting, hoopla and a lucky dip.
Adrian Jones, Deputy Chief Executive at Chippenham Town Council, said “We have built on the success of this event last year, with lots more activities this year. We work hard to develop our relationship with local charities and communities so we are really pleased that many of them will be taking part in the day with us”
We hope to see you there!
